Contact A – mean value articulator
The Contact A mean value articulator for set up of prosthetic teeth allows an exact simulation of the individual condyle paths.
With a condylar path inclination of 30° relative to the occlusal plane and a side length of 105 mm from the articulator joint to the incisal needle, the Contact A corresponds to the Bonwill triangle. The angle at the incisal plate has a 15° setting and is also available as a 0° incisal plate if required. The working height for mounting in the articulator is 100 mm. The double conical condylar joints conform to Professor Gerber’s condylar technique. The inner cone of 17° and the outer cone of 12° execute the Bennett motion.
Benefits at a glance:
- Simple set-up.
- Exact simulation of the condylar path.
- High fitting accuracy of the denture.
