Metrowax No.2 is a carefully formulated blend of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, designed to deliver exceptional handling characteristics and reliable dimensional stability throughout the various stages of dental production. Its balanced composition allows for precise carving, layering, and contouring, making it ideal for both detailed occlusal work and full prosthetic modelling. Our original pink colour, Metrowax No.2 provides excellent visibility and contrast, enhancing accuracy during sculpting and reducing the risk of errors. This wax has a rich heritage, being the first of our modelling waxes introduced over 80 years ago, and it continues to be trusted by dental technicians for its consistent performance and ease of use.
